03/08/26 I just download Karens diretory printer 5.4.4 on WIn10 when I run dirprt , it immediately closes ?
Some people have that problem. I’m trying to figure out why.

I’m just wondering if they’ll be an update to Karens Replicator since latest iteration is 6 yrs old ? But otherwise works fine in w11 so no need I suppose ? I’ve used and loved this program since it’s inception too far back to recall. Thanks so much for keeping Mrs/Ms Kenworthy’s work alive for us all these yrs..
Yes, I’ve been messing with rewriting Replicator. Actually, it works for most people in Win 11, but some can’t run any of Karen’s tools because of some incompatibility between the installer and Windows 11, I guess. Never been able to spot a pattern.
Could it be a problem with using an ARM? I have an HP Snapdragon X Plus.
Dirprn.exe 5.4.4 crashes after displaying the opening screen.
You actually see the opening screen but then it crashes? It’s more likely that it cannot access a file path to save something. Does an error end up being recorded in Eventvwr? I’m guessing ARM couldn’t make much of a difference because your PC has to emulate the Intel machine code and I’d think they have that fixed up well, but maybe they don’t. Karen does load one of her own DLLs that she wrote in C… I have to think about this.n Thanks.
